Built around the concept of KODO ( mean soul beat, pulsation or external expression of latent power ) , the new higher specification Yamaha MT-01 SP has been designed to elevate the experience of KODO to an even higher level.
The massive 1,670cc V-twin engine and aluminium sports chassis of MT-01 get a range of significant chassis and stylistic changes like the use of the new Ohlins suspension, Pirelli tyres and a radical new colour scheme which work together to offer an enhanced handling and road holding qualities, the experience of maximum enjoyment from the engine’s huge low-rpm torque delivery
New 43mm Ohlins front forks have been designed specifically for the new MT-01 SP.
Feature optimal spring and damping settings which have been set to match the unique characteristics of the MT-01 SP’s high-torque engine and aluminium chassis offer high levels of feedback from the road surface.New Öhlins rear shock absorber offers high levels of comfort combined with first class handling, stability and road holding.
The MT-01 SP’s are equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres as original equipment, with a 120/70-17 front and a 190/50-17 rear.
And with its exclusive new red and white colour scheme, two-tone seat and gold wheels, the MT-01 SP feels special in every sense.
But except the features of the MT-01 SP list below, its specification is not different with MT-01 .
